Type 2 to V2L charging cable 16A 1 phase with 2-pin Euro socket (Schuko socket) that can be connected to an E-GMP-enabled V2L compatible (Vehicle to Load) Jaecoo vehicle to power an electrical device. Jaecoo models that support V2L are the Jaecoo 5 and Jaecoo 7. Please confirm that your vehicle supports V2L as not all model variants are V2L compatible. Is your vehicle V2L compatible? Please refer to your vehicle manual to ensure that V2L is available for the model variant and registration year of your vehicle. Additionally, if you have access to your EV, you can check the vehicle’s console settings to see if there are V2L options available.
Is your cable long enough? Choose a cable length based on how you plan to use V2L. A half-metre length may leave the V2L socket hanging from the vehicle. Opt for a longer cable if you need to power appliances farther away from the vehicle.

This V2L charging cable allows you to connect a laptop, kettle, or other electrical device that is powered by a 3-pin Type G plug with a voltage between 200V-250V.
Your vehicle can be used to power an electrical appliance that has the 3-pin Type G plug used in the UK, Ireland, Malta, Cyprus and some countries in the Middle East, Asia, Afria and the Americas.
The cable is IP44 rated. This means that you should be very careful when using the cable in the rain. Make sure that water does not enter the Type 2 plug or Type G 3-pin socket. Please use the rubber covers when the V2L cable is not in use and store the cable in a dry, safe place.
Will this V2L cable work with the Type 2 socket of a Jaecoo vehicle?
Not all Jaecoo models with a Type 2 socket are V2L (Vehicle to Load) enabled. This cable works with Jaecoo vehicles that have the V2L E-GMP platform such as the V2L enabled models of the Jaecoo 5 and Jaecoo 7. Please check your vehicle manual beforehand to confirm that your vehicle supports V2L / bidirectional charging.
V2L charging cables should be connected to an electrical device that has a voltage between 200V and 250V (1 phase, 16A) and has a 2-pin (Schuko) plug. Failure to follow this instruction will void the vehicle warranty and may result in damage to the V2L cable, the connected electrical appliance and the vehicle.
