Coiled charging cable for charging the Harley Davidson Livewire at a Type 2 public charging point or wall charger. This spiral cable can charge up to 22kW and can be used to charge all Type 2 socket vehicles. The current will not exceed the amount of current that the Harley Davidson Livewire can accept. Available in lengths of 5M, and 8M. However, the working length of a coiled cable (so that the cable is not overstretched) is around 2 metres less than the stated length. Cable bag included. Ist Ihr Fahrzeug bereits mit einem Ladekabel vom Typ 2 ausgestattet? Bitte fragen Sie Ihren Händler/Verkäufer, ob ein Ladekabel vom Typ 2 auf Typ 2 mit Ihrem Fahrzeug mitgeliefert wurde.

Ist Ihr Kabel lang genug? Messen Sie die Länge von Ihrem Wandladegerät bis zur Typ-2-Fahrzeugsteckdose an der Stelle, an der Ihr Fahrzeug normalerweise geparkt wird. Fügen Sie einen halben Meter hinzu, um eine Überdehnung des Kabels zu vermeiden. Wenn Sie das Ladekabel an einer öffentlichen Ladestation verwenden, wird das 5-Meter-Kabel (8 m für ein Spiralkabel) empfohlen, da die Länge von 3 Metern manchmal zu kurz sein kann.

Ist dies ein Verlängerungskabel? Nein. Use A Harley Davidson Livewire Compatible 22kW Spiral Cable For Connecting All Models Of The Harley Davidson Livewire To A Type 2 Socket Charging Point

Our 22kW Type 2 to Type 2 spiral charging cable will provide up to 22kW and can be plugged into the Type 2 socket of the Harley Davidson Livewire and any Type 2 charging point (such as a home wallbox) that does not have a cable already attached to it. It does not matter if the charging point is 3 Phase or 1 Phase because the charging point will calculate how much current your Harley Davidson Livewire will accept and how much current the cable can handle. The cable can therefore be used with ALL Type 2 charging points with an open socket and the Type 2 socket of the Harley Davidson Livewire. This cable is not an extension cable and it will not work if it is connected to another Type 2 plug. It is therefore not suitable for charging points with a cable already attached to it (a tethered cable) or as an extension for any other Mode 3 charging cable or Mode 2 charger. The working length of a spiral cable is about 2 metres below their stated length.

Is This 22kW Spiral Cable Compatible With The Harley Davidson Livewire?

Choosing The Correct Charging Cable

Our Type 2 coiled cables adhere to the IEC 62196-2 standard. This ensures compatibility with Type 2 socket charging points and any Type 2 socket-equipped vehicle, such as the Harley Davidson Livewire.

The vehicle and charging point will communicate with each other to ensure that the precise amount of current is delivered to the vehicle. Therefore, it does not matter if a charging cable can supply less or more power than the vehicle can accept.

This cable is therefore suitable for charging the Type 2 socket of the Harley Davidson Livewire. Please note that the manufacturer of this vehicle did not manufacture this charging cable.

Most electric vehicles sold in Europe have a Type 2 socket, which will either be a 7 hole charging socket or a 9 hole CCS (DC rapid charging) socket. CCS (Combined Charging Socket), accommodates the Type 2 cable in its 7 hole upper chamber.

Is This Cable Waterproof?

Cable: The cable is waterproof as long as there are no cuts or tears in the cable sheath.

Type 2 Plug: The Type 2 plugs are built with an outer shell that will withstand rain and snow when connected to the vehicle socket. So your cable is effectively waterproof when it is charging your vehicle.

A common way for water to enter the Type 2 plugs is when the plug caps are replaced after charging. The plug caps must always be replaced after charging your vehicle, but do ensure that the inside of both plug caps are dry. Avoid leaving the plugs lying around outside, do not drag or drop the Type 2 plugs on the ground and store the charging cable in a dry place when not in use.

Choice Of Cable Bags

We provide a free canvas cable bag (suitable for cables up to 15M) to store this charger when not in use. You can also upgrade the bag to a cable case made from EVA material for enhanced waterproofing and impact protection. The EVA case has an elasticated strap in the bottom compartment and elasticated mesh pocket in the top. So it allows convenient storage of two cables. The EVA case can therefore carry 2 cables if each cable does not exceed 10 metres length (20M total length).
