You can use this charger to connect the Type 2 socket Vauxhall to a 3 Phase 16A CEE socket, 1 Phase 16A CEE socket, 16A 2-pin Type F (Schuko), Type E and Type C 230V 16A Socket and 13A 3-pin UK socket (Type G socket).

Ensure compatibility between the charging cable and your vehicle. The images on this page provide a visual guide to the sockets that the charger will plug into, allowing you to match the cable plug to your vehicle socket and power socket. This charger is for a Type 2 socket electric vehicle. You can also use our EV Cable Finder to locate your vehicle and explore the charging cables available for your vehicle.
Is the cable long enough? Measure the distance from the power outlet to the Type 2 vehicle socket, typically where your vehicle is parked. Add half a meter to prevent overstretching the cable.
Cable Care & Warranty
To ensure the proper care of your Mode 2 charger, be sure to follow the safety instructions outlined in the user booklet provided with your product. These chargers have a 24 months manufacturer warranty. However, following the instructions and safety information for using the Type 2 to multi adapter charger will help to ensure trouble-free use. Charge All Models Of The Type 2 Socket Vauxhall With 16A and 13A Power Sockets
The multi adapter EV charger can connect to 16A 1 Phase and 3 Phase sockets, as well as Type F, C, E and G household sockets, allowing a maximum current of up to 11kW. The adapters that are available to buy for this charger will allow one device to charge the Type 2 socket Vauxhall with the following power outlets:
3 Phase 16A CEE (Commando) 5 pin socket
1 Phase 16A CEE (Commando) 3 pin socket
16A Euro 2 pin Type C, E, F (Schuko) socket
13A UK 3 pin socket
Regardless of whether the power socket supplies more current than the Vauxhall EV can accept, it is the vehicle that determines the maximum current it draws from the mobile charger. This charger will therefore only provide up to the maximum charging capacity that the vehicle can handle.
The multi-adapter charger offers variable current. Your vehicle can be charged at 1 Phase or 3 Phase power with options of 6A, 8A, 10A, 13A, 16A. This universal multi-adapter charger is therefore compatible with (solar panel, Photovoltaic) PV Systems. The device also retains the chosen setting for subsequent charges.


Is This The Right Charger For My Vehicle?
The Vauxhall EV has a Type 2 socket as standard, thus ensuring compatibility with this multi socket charger. Please note that the manufacturer of this vehicle did not manufacture this charging cable.
Ensure that the power socket used to charge your vehicle has been certified for charging an electric vehicle by a qualified electrician.

Multi Adapters
The adapters that are available for this multi socket charger allows the Vauxhall vehicle to be charged from 5 pin 16A and 3 pin 16A CEE sockets. There are also adapters for charging the vehicle with a 2 pin 16A Euro (Type C, E, F) socket and a 3 pin 13A UK (Type G) socket. The charger will detect the voltage of the power supply so it will auto switch to 1 Phase or 3 Phase power.
Therefore, this multi socket socket charger is suitable if you want to charge your vehicle with a 16A socket when going camping, charging your vehicle with an industrial red socket at work, or if you are travelling abroad.
If you want a multi socket charger that will connect to 32A Commando and 13A mains sockets as well as the 16A CEE and Euro sockets, then the 32A universal EV charger is recommended.
When using this 16A charger with the adapter / power outlets displayed in the table below, the charger will provide the following maximum currents:

Please note that the multi-adapter charger should only be set to the recognised safe limits for 230v household sockets. In most European countries, this is usually 10A or less.. The Schuko adapter is only to be used with the 2 pin Euro Type F, E or C socket.
The maximum current displayed in the above table will not necessarily be the current that the EV / PHEV will accept. That is, the vehicle will only accept up to the maximum AC current of its onboard charger.

EV Cable Case
This multi adapter charger includes a complimentary EVA cable case, allowing for safe storage of your charger and adapters. The case has an elasticated strap in the bottom compartment and elasticated mesh pocket in the top, providing convenient storage of your charger and up to 5 adapters.
